Worli is formal, vertical and tight on access

The offices along Dr Annie Besant Road and around Worli Naka skew corporate — financial services, headquarters, consultancies. Lunch happens in a defined window, meetings are scheduled tightly, and the food is often in front of a client.

That makes presentation matter more here than in most of Mumbai. It also makes timing unforgiving: a delivery that arrives twenty minutes late doesn't inconvenience a team, it interrupts a meeting.

So we plan Worli as a scheduled run rather than a nearby drop. Wider buffer, access confirmed the day before, and a format chosen for a room where people can't queue.

Getting there, and why we're honest about it

Our kitchen is in Marol, Andheri East. Worli is roughly forty-five minutes to an hour depending on the route and the hour — usually the Western Express Highway to Bandra, then the Sea Link.

That's not close, and we don't pretend otherwise. What it means in practice:

For scheduled work — board lunches, conferences, recurring office meals — distance is irrelevant. The run is planned, the buffer is built in, and we've never been late because of it.

For same-day requests — we'll tell you honestly whether we can hold the time. Sometimes yes, often not. A caterer who says yes to everything is a caterer who arrives at two o'clock.

Building access is the real variable

Worli's commercial towers run vendor access the way Lower Parel and BKC do, and it catches out caterers who haven't worked here.

Vehicle passes and driver details usually need submitting a day ahead.
Service lifts are shared with other vendors, and in several buildings the booking needs 24 hours.
Staff IDs and photographs where the building requires them.
A named receiving contact on your side, so nobody is calling reception at one o'clock.

We submit all of it in advance. Tell us the building and we handle the paperwork.

Menus for a mixed workforce

A Worli office floor will include people fasting on set days, colleagues who don't eat onion or garlic, and a growing number avoiding dairy entirely. In a meeting room, nobody can quietly check what's in a dish — so labelling has to do the work.

Every menu carries at least two clearly labelled onion-and-garlic-free options and at least one that's genuinely dairy-free. Paneer, ghee, curd and cream run through most Indian menus, and a dish marked vegan containing any of them is worse than no label at all. See vegan catering and pure veg catering.

Otherwise: North Indian, South Indian, Continental, Chinese, working-lunch boxes, high tea and live counters where space allows.

Hygiene, and an open invitation

FSSAI standards throughout, temperature-controlled transport, uniformed staff, documented cleaning schedules, and a named supervisor accountable on site rather than a call desk.

Before any recurring contract begins, your admin or HR team is welcome to visit our Marol kitchen. Most corporate clients do, and we'd rather you did.
